I was wondering if Karts will be allowed at any of your solo2 events in 2007

I was wondering if Karts will be allowed at any of your solo2 events in 2007 Don't see a reason why not, as long as they pass tech, and are classed properly. We haven't had a problem with karts in 06.

We have always allowed Karts. Usually let them run first to get them out of the way of the bigger cars.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get a group together and maybe attend a few solo's. It should be fun. ;D

Go to SCCA.com and check out the solo rules. It will help you get everything sorted out related to Karts. It has info on the various classes and required safety equipment

We also require the following:
Heat-resistant tape wrapped around exhaust to prevent burns.
Red flag on fiberglass pole attached to kart so it can be seen around course if there are dips in course and can be seen behind a car
any fuel container to clearly identify type of fuel in it
karts must be pushed to/from staging area
depending on age, minors may "need" an adult to work in their place.
Also recommend putting chain guards on both sides of rear sprockett as autox tends to cause them to be thrown off.
