Rallycross - Saturday, October 28th in Clayton, NC

Wow, time has really snuck on me here- Tarheel Sports Car Club's next rallycross event, "Monster Rallycross" is coming up soon, on Saturday, October 28th! Once again we'll be back at the "BMW Farm" in Clayton, NC, taking advantage of the elevation changes to make a fast and fun course.

Heavy rain the night before made for a few slick spots for the first run group, but warm temperatures, bright sun, and a stiff breeze dried things out quickly. Turnout was disappointing at only 28 drivers, but that let us finish up earlier- we were packed up, finished with awards, and out of there shortly after 2:30.

We got much more video this time, and I'm currently in the process of going through it to make a highlight video. I'll post back here when it's available.

As a reminder, our next event is in only 2 weeks, and we'll be debuting a new site - Orange County Speedway near Roxboro, NC. Hope you'll come on out and check it out with us!
