Is there much of a difference between the Falken 215 and 615 tires? I know the 615 is the replacement for the 215 which i have heard good things about. I as because i could pick up a set of what have been described as lightly used 215's at a decent price. Any opinions or advice would be great.
Thanks

215s get slick quicker. When they are almost bald they have no traction at all (the last 2 AX's in 2006 were really bad for me because of this). 615s don't heat up as quickly, so in cold weather they don't have as much grip.
Get the 215s for cheap and use 'em up...

I would get the 615s. I've run on both and prefer the 615. It doesnt get greasy as quickly, and has as much grip as the 215s in cold weather. The 215s you are looking at are probably old, and may be heat cycled.
