CCR Memorial Day Weekend Social

The arrival of May 2008, brings us the CCR-SCCA "May Memorial Monster," a Club Racing, three day weekend at the (Kershaw, SC) Carolina Motorsports Park. This will be a big weekend for CCR and SCCA members. In conjunction to the Saturday and Sunday Club Road Races, we will also conduct the first round of the "Continental Tire Triple Crown" Time Trial Series with a Sunday/Monday Track Trial. Since this is the Memorial Day weekend, we will also be honoring those who have made sacrifices for our country.

As a continuation of those observances we will also remember the CCR workers/individuals who are no longer with us with a Sunday evening social at the track. A grilled meal with beverages will be served at approximately 5:30pm. CCR members, drivers, crew and workers will be welcome.

Come early and drive the new road course with your (quiet) street licensed vehicle during the Sunday afternoon lunch break.
Solo drivers come on out to CMP and assist your fellow drivers who as novices are going to step up a notch and take on the full course without pylons.

I plan on doing the race that weekend, but is it possible to also run the time trial?

Sure...run what you brung...the TT is open to all RR licenced drivers...
