Also...any new news on those two Tentative Team members. Perhaps they aren't Tentative anymore? I will confirm their acceptance at the CMP Kershaw event. |

Came up with another logo. Used some ghost Kanji in the background...and a new font. Again...sorry for the artifacting. That's compression thanks to Photobucket. Oh...and in case you're wondering....the kanji I used is the symbol for "Car"  |

I will be there depending on my schedule next week. I hope to run as many events with ccr as possible, so I am in. I may also be bumping up in a different car class. Where exactly, I'm not sure yet. As of right now, I'm running gs. I'm not sure If I should max my car in stock, or go to stx or dsp. I want better pax times than running stock class on street tires. Any suggestions? John Lambert |

John...I take it you're in the same boat I am? Classified with the R-Compound types and not wanting to run R-Comps? If you want an all Street Tire class.....go STX. For myself, I'm hoping that we'll have an STU2 class next year...when I'll be out in the open classes.

BTW, if you guys need a spot, feel free to kick me. I've made some progress on the Nissan but still don't quite have it running right...seems low on power. You're fine, Andy. I mean....as it stands, we've got 2 open spots. No reason what-so-ever for you to be booted so far as I can tell. I'm sure you'll get your 240 right soon. Plenty more events on the schedule.
Oh...Steve...any news on our last remaining Tentative Team Member?

Lance has confirmed that he wants to participate in Team Nissan.
I also added Jr. (Marvin) Sightler to the team, he wants to run with us and has a SpecV.
That leaves us one remaining open spot, I'm open to ideas.

Morris has a BS car now. Dunno if he'll run novice or not though (both of which we've got covered). I know there are a couple 240SX guys that come out....though I haven't spoken with any of them. And...there's always my friend Dana...who's a Z Owner....but AutoX's a WRX since he's restoring his 280Z right now.
There was also a guy running a G35 at the first event at Knights. If he shows up....maybe we could get him? He seemed to be pretty quick...and an Infiniti is a Nissan.

Well...if it is the Infiniti that I know of, it is Mr. Grumbles...and he is very quick...but his G35 did find the tire wall at CMP. No news yet on if he survived his arrival home when his wife saw the car!!! LOL
Scott's a good one to get if you can get him.

It looks like the Army changed my schedule again. No leave for me. I guess this means I can make it out this weekend. I'm not saying that it can't change about 20 times from now till then though. That's the Army for ya'. See yous there.
