The wind was horrid. According to weather.com, yesterday evening had winds of 38mph gusting to 58mph! This morning's commute wasn't much better. Everytime the wind would gust into my hood scoop, I could actually see the aluminum hood flex as the scoop tried to lift! Also, the exit sign on Hwy 74 for the I-26E exit (the last exit sign before Hwy 74 merges with I-26W) had one leg bent and the other uprooted!

I saw several trees uprooted and leaning on houses in Whitmire... They weren't like that on Saturday. Mama Nature's got spunk!

Any idea how we did compared to the other teams?? Well - lessee...Team Beer completed the day wid all cars in one piece and all drivers heading for serious libation. I selected a Yuengling B&T for my finish line - washing it down with a nice sirloin. So, all of us at Team BEER felt really good about our performance - and James' arm isn't broken - just beat up, so he will return!

Yea I got home to NO power, Snow, the worst wind storm I have ever seen Still no power this morning I had that problem on the course. We had changed my spark plugs on Sat and I was ready for some incresed power and the car ran fine on the way out there. As I got ready for my first run, I noticed that it was not running right. The car was backfiring and had no power. I was very concerned because after the first 2 runs with me hitting a cone each time even the truck was beating me. I did manage to pass him on the third run and then managed a 42.4 on my last run which I was very happy with the way the car was running. Checked it out and found out that one of the spark plugs had come loose, so we are back to speed now. The Genie will get them next time.

I talked to the Deans, and Scott said they havent committed to the other team yet. I think we need them in BSP! I think at this point its safe to say that the teams are finalized. Rosters have been submitted and one race completed. It's a done deal. To allow people to simply switch from one team to the other would pose an unfair advantage as one team could hord all the top drivers from various classes. I think most would agree with me on this. And another thing... Team Subaru (in their AWD/turbocharged vehicles) has...count them...12 members. And you need to recruit the Deans and Scott to become more competitive? Sounds like someone needs to work more on the nut behind the wheel more then recruiting members of other teams.

I think, when the statement was made about trying to recrute the deans, we didn't know they were a firm part of any team. Please correct me if i am wrong. We are in no way trying to be underhanded, In fact I think everyone in CCR and HSCC are the most trustworthy people I have ever met. Kudos to all. Oh BTW GO Team Subaru.

Only your season points... STU = PSTU as far as PAX is concerned... isn't it?
