Ok..where wuz I...yes..I am having a beer...just got back from working at Eagles Nest...as the um...go-fer for Dick McCollister....good work if ya can get it. And it pays bedder than most SCCA voloonteer posishuns....I get coffee and ice water for only 2 bucks apiece!!! LOL

BTW...Eagles nest was really kewl..and if I can figger out how to post pics again, I will...just too tired to mess with it.
I still think the only team that shouldn't get team points wuz the one that launched a missile at the first course and caused us to change

glad you enjoyed your work assignment at Eagles Nest  last weekend I did the same for Mike Burke (blk dodge glhs) at VIR he drives a FSR in the Carolina Cup... they had a race Sat and one Sun... I and Bill Baker deserted him on Sun to run our own race at Statesville but had a great time Sat... even more fun was getting out on track Sat during lunch the uphill esses flat out in fourth gear (untill I ran out of bigguns  ) .... 80 -85 mph was a blast.... then the reality of the oak tree turn and especially the down hill esses made me realize how much I really have to learn.. GO TEAM BEER !!!!!! |

Now we are only one week away from the 24 hours. This is a tough time for Team Beer. Whilst we enjoy the competition and the opportunity to wear out our tires for 24 hours in a row, it does mean that there will be refrigerators that won't be opened for more than a full day!!
All that beer, sitting quietly in the dark, cold fridge....just waiting for us.....

Garbage beer is still beer. Never met one I didn't like....
Team Beer did its best at the Hooters on speedway Blvd. Bogner even had his pic taken with about a 1/2 dozen lovely ladies. As soon as I can get the pics from my son I will post them.
But - Team beer was still drinking as the last of the crew left - NitroC5 was there with a Newcastle ale and we had Bogner and Saabstory still spilling beer as the checks were paid.

Next year, we will vote to eliminate the advantage of the other teams. Class wins instead of PAX which is as Ted E. Bear points out is a puddle 4.2 seconds in front of the toilet.
If I wanted bracket racing , i would drag race.
