well, if I can keep all 4 cylinders running in the Celica, maybe I'll do a little better than I did at CMP. Had a wire come off the distributor some time during my 3rd run... Didn't figure it out till after last run.

OK - Lil history lesson here....the Flag of Japan is a red disk on a white background - called the Nisshoki (English Translation: Rising Sun Flag) ..The flag with the "rays" as shown was the Japanese Naval Battle Flag of WWII. Hey thanks for the history lesson. Next time I'll do a red dot on a white background and call it a logo.  Team Chicken Pox. |

i just threw this sucker together  Chunk, this is beautiful! Puts my 4-minute starburst to shame, but well I wasn't going for GDUSA. Maybe Team Tsunami? It takes out some of the specificity of Japan, allowing for more makes and models ... ? Unless this is all too "elegant" for a car club... |

LOL. thanx tink. it really didnt take all that long. maybe 1/2 hour. i did a 3 or 4 color LiveTrace of a high res version of the painting, LiveTrace Expand, Ungroup, and pulled pieces off of it and recolored it. hmmm, maybe i should change the font to curls cause it would look so good w/ the waves |
