It's a NC based club. Greenville is in SC. Bzzzt...wrong. NC and SC are covered by *3* different SCCA regions. SCR covers Eastern SC, NCR covers Eastern NC and a small chunk of VA, and Central Carolinas Region covers Western NC *and* Western SC. Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC are both well within CCR's region (as are Clemson, SC and Cherokee, NC for that matter)! Lest you forget, Knights Stadium and CMP are both in SC as well and both are in CCR's region. Just because a lot of the members and officers are from the Charlotte area doesn't make it an NC club. In fact there are many in WNC and WSC who aren't SCCA members largely because their own region (i.e. us) doesn't hold any events near them.

yea but look at where all of team Subaru are coming from.... we have people from all over so that tends to hinder attendance It is sorta like all the Charlotte people saying Greenville is too far when alot of people find it closer than going to Charlotte. how about move the team limits to 15 and still allow the 5 fastest pax times. just a thought from a X-nOOb It's a NC based club. Greenville is in SC. 15 people per team is way too much. I think 12 is nearly too much. Team captains have only themselves to thank for picking drivers who do not attend many/all events. IMHO. Where did Austin Smith go? He's a pretty good driver but only showed at about half the events. It's funny you should ask about him in this post. He's a student at Furman, which is in Greenville, so the drive to all of these CLT area events probably kept him from attending them all. AFAIK, he wasn't on any of the teams, anyway.
