With the dissolution of Team Nissan for the 08 season, I'm wondering if anyone would like to draft me? I'm pretty reliable. I only missed a single event last season. Team Europe: The engine in the Z was designed by Renault and Nissan (They merged some time back, you know). Team Beer: I don't drink Beer (or alcohol for that matter)...but I'm a nice guy and have an awful Pax multiplier thanks to my class. No Name Racing: There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to your team....so I guess I might fit there. Though you did accept JB and the XBox (we're hoping it's not a 360....). Anyway...I'm entertaining offers.

Don't forget CRUDE to go with RUDE - it is part of the team beer motto.
BTW - we love stinking up the works with Bad PAX, and fast driving, plus our intimidating fun demeanor....... Imagine driving an exotic yurrapeeing car and having to admit you got your butt beat by something in the "Team Beer" stable (or is it corral....maybe glue factory?).
Wanna have fun - come play wid us...we are working on a twelve pack.

After giving it some thought, I'm not sure how reliable I will be this season so I'm not going to run in the team comp this year.
Thanks for the offers though. I appreciate it.

Sorry in advance for the stupid question ;D I am planning to run my Mini Cooper S in Tire GS class but still considering STX. Based on my reading of the team competition rules, the points are based on the top 5 pax times for each team. If I run GST then the street tires with the GS PAX would put me at a disadvantage. Am I looking at this correctly? Thanks!

Am I looking at this correctly? Thanks! Sure I would agree the short answer is yes, it puts you at a disadvantage for pax. However, unless you are going to go crazy on the car to prep it to the max in STX, your slight disadvantage turns into a LARGE disadvantage.

Thanks, that is what I thought! No way I will do that many modifications to move to STX. Maybe I wil ljust go ahead and break down buy some R-Comps.
Thanks!

If I had to guess, and thats really all this is, either way car as is will be roughly 2+ secs off the pace. And as it has been said numerous times, running on some good ole fashion street tires for a while is not a bad thing for your driving skills.

I ran STX with the wagon.... Sure I didn't win outright but I did get second for the season.
OH and most of that was on street tires.

Okay if anyone needs another team member, I am available. I have only driven in two events so I wouldn't expect much from me but I try hard. I have a Bone Stock 07 Mini Cooper S running in Tire G Stock but I do have plans for a new exhaust and airfilter on the way. Thanks, Andy

Well it looks like am on No Name Racing unless I get vetoed by the other co-captain!
I think we actually met at the 24 hour event last year. I had the White Scion tC last year.
I will look for you on Saturday and/or Sunday. I now have a Blue with Black Stripes Mini Cooper S.
