Hey everyone, my name is Andy Crawford and I've just recently started back autocrossing. I drove a white 93 240SX at #9 and a black M3 at the Statesville one yesterday due to the Nissan being down for an erratic AFR issue. Here they both are:  I really enjoyed the event yesterday and look forward to many more there. |

What kind of AFR problem caused you to strip the car?!?! That's nuts!
I like the M3.... such neat cars.

I actually autocrossed a few events with CCR back in 2003, and a couple with both Triad and Tarheel, so I'm not entirely new to either organization. I'm looking forward to more "seat time." What kind of AFR problem caused you to strip the car?!?! That's nuts! I like the M3.... such neat cars. Glad you made it back to another event! Hope you make it to some next season. Ha, that was back when I was still building the car. In fact, working on it very many weekends (I probably have 400+ hours in the car and $14k...you wouldn't know it to look at it) is what kept me from making it to autocrosses. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have made more time to keep my skills up. Thanks, I felt it was a very capable Solo car, albeit a bit more piggy than my Nissan. I will probably attend ~50% of CCR events next year, depending on schedule. Knights and Statesville work well for me being a new Dad, so I'll most certainly attend those. newbies need karma. Here is one. Thanks! Any relation to Rick Crawford? Not that I'm aware of. I wish I was kin to Max Crawford though! -Andy |
