We've got at Record Number of entries this year and I know of a few more that will probably be there as well. C'mon JW8! Bring that Alabama gang and let's go. CSP only has 9 entries, so far, should be another great shoot out

It has been quite a week, got home from CMP with a right front tire seperating on the dually, Mon. morning got up to go to work battery dead on the Monte (no previous indications from the battery). Tue. night pulled the tran's from the Miata to see why 5th gear was not working (gear in bottom of trans) Wed. night put battery in lawn tractor yard is @ 12" tall, will start now but not continue running, (will ck out Thur. night ) pull trans apart pull out 5th gear and broken end of counter shaft assemble trans. so I can reinstall Fri. night, talked to Chris B. he informed me that he had been talking to some people about rearend's and they said the quickest way to tear up a trans is to take the dampner off the diff. companion flange, (guess what was not on the companion flange of the new 4.30 torsen I installed this last winter). Fri. night finally got the mower running, hit a tree stump bent blades, trip to lowes new blades new air filter (really was past due). Finally got the grass mowed record time @2.5 hrs (thank's for the help Jamie) couple of chilly dog's and time to stab the trans, trans in @ 10:30pm (thank's for working the jack Jamie). Sat. install new companion flange on diff. buttoned up the trans, dang doodle outta gear oil trip to Advanced, Miata back on ground test drive feels good time to play with velocity stacks and air horns, all went well new combination. Change oil on Miata. Helped Jamie color her hair (shhhhhh dont tell her I said that), Sun. washed the dually changed the oil filter and fuel filter (serviced it) now just gotta find some new front tire's for it this week and Im ready to load. After a week like this all I can say is I'm ready to shred Wolfridge ............see ya on the hill........ Willie

You guys are making me cry... Good grief! The lovely Jamie did most of the work for Willie (except the hair dying which ...is starting to scare me, Willie...) and Mark had to go to Advance Auto twice for rubbing compound to buff out a few minor scratches on old Red. I blew my engine! That's okay...it's rebuilt and back in place. Bandit is good to go. Got Elvira finished up too! Looking forward to seeing you guys up there! TJ's first hillclimb and my first in the Bandit. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhaaaaaa!

Mark had to go to Advance Auto twice for rubbing compound to buff out a few minor scratches on old Red. It's called massage therapy even got a pedalcure...no facial It's been a lot of work for all concerned, with a dab of good luck* we'll have it done. *I was going to say luck but, we've had lots of luck lately...just not the kind you want...in my case throw in a teaspoon of stupid and a half cup of cranial faltulence and you get what we got...a recipe for disaster
