Here's my two fastest runs, unfortunately the timer wasn't working for the faster of the two. First run after lunch: The rerun for that run:

Nice videos, Matt. Notice you got a little wiggly in that second one.

Well here is my video in which I turned in too early, hit a joint in the pavement and almost paid for it. As you can see, the ol' Caldwell had more to do with this save than I did. I just released the wheel and she straightened up and off we went. This was my 1:58.8 second run from Saturday. The excitement happens at 1:52. It did get my attention.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that got real sideways after hitting that dip. Uncanny how much alike the videos look there (1:43 in that 2nd video above).

This was the best of Bandit's sub 2 minute runs at 117 seconds... (not sure if it's official yet until Rankins approves it... he's 0-2 this year but he's still using that "open wheel - closed wheel " excuse. Hey Stevey, ...Bandit's almost 30 years old! How old is your subby? Now THATs an excuse! ;D) Thanks to TJ and Dagmar for helping me get back in to what I love, to Jerry Kieft for building such a wonderful car and Steve Hampton of CHAP RACING for helping to breathe life back in to it. You have no idea how pityful that beast looked the first day when Jeremy brought it to me from up north. It sat in a garage under tarps in the dark for a long time just waiting... Hope to see you at Eagle's Nest!

Ted, thanks for giving us a ride in the legendary BANDIT. I knew to keep pushing on Sunday as I knew you had the car to steal the win. That's why it's named the BANDIT. Amazing drive!

Here's one of my videos from saturday morning before the camera died. I feel bad for the transmission, as you'll hear.
