It is coming soon! 2007 is almost here. So let's post a few of our fondest memories from our 2006 season. And - Happy New Year to all of you!

Some of my favorites-
The HPDE event at CMP -- Fun folks, fast cars (including a couple of stock cars and a Ford V-8 powered Mercedes) and the Red Bull "representatives".

The Big 24 hour - arguably one of the most interesting and fun autocross events ever. Gives you a rare chance to tune, tweak, and work on technique while trying to put in a few really fast times. All novices should run this event to get some real seat time. One highlight at this event was Rob Falkner driving the "SS Impala" on a hot lap and Mike CaSSino in the tweety slippers with wiener dog socks and robe.

and, all the new folks I've had the chance to meet this year. Too many to mention, but I have especially enjoyed getting to ride/instruct/learn from some of you.

This year has been good for me I went through 3 cars (not by wrecks, but trade ins) I've enjoyed my first part season with CCR. I've had alot of fun at Lowe's and the 24. I wish i was able to do more events, but there is always next season.

Jeannie, I've enjoyed your help this season as well. Oh and your blonde ways!

Hmm.....though my AutoX career has be oh-so-short....I'll give this a shot....

#1 would have to be finally getting out there and driving in my first Event. It was hosted by would friends to the south...



#2 would have to be the 24hr. That was my second event ever....and what an event it was. Brought in another newb.....spun my car....and just generally had a lot of fun. Can't wait for next year.



#3 is definitely from the Statesville Non-Points event. Deep down I always knew that my old Volvo could hack it in the twisties. Now I know that I wasn't completely delusional. Now....just gotta do something about that stalling issue. Hopefully it was just a lack of use thing....

It would serve as a good reminder to everyone, do NOT armorall the gas pedal!!!!
