As there seems to be some confusion as to what CCR offers to our workers, stewards, etc., let's clarify.
At any road race or hill climb, we put our workers up in a suitable hotel/motel/inn, double occupancy (not co-ed unless you are a couple both working). We also feed you a light breakfast either at your motel/hotel/inn or at the track. We provide a lunch and normally have a social Saturday evening after we clear the race track. We provide refreshments at the social and if funds allow, will feed workers, as well. We provide plenty of snacks and hydration sources during conduct of the event.
We will consider giving gas cards in lieu of lodging on a case-by-case basis. There would be a limit of $25 per day in this case or as decided by race/club officials.
For example: The Rock 'n Road Hillclimb at Eagle's Nest: we will use at least 2 of the 3 lodging locations used last year. Both offered breakfast for workers and comfortable rooms. We had generous food at the hill and had a fine social on Saturday. All who came to help, have expressed interest in coming this year. That does not mean that we can't use more, because we can. We really need 2 workers per corner station and we are well short of that. If you want to work, enjoy the CCR hillclimb experience and help your club, contact me, I'll add you to the list. Thanks.

I will work at Eagles. For sure, I could help on Sunday. Friday, saturday is the problem., I requested friday night off from work, was turned down. Will approach our center mngr again, and let you know.
If I can make it, put me where I am needed.

Tony, Brian, Mash,
I asked the Clemson Sports Car Club guys to consider covering a corner as representatives from their club in their club shirts. It would be nice for me personally to see all that orange on course!!! Would it be possible to contact other clubs and ask if they could do the same?
Think about it... Highlands Sports Car Club Clemson Sports Car Club Tarheel Club Triad Club University of South Carolina Car Club South Carolina Region Central Carolina Region
That is TRUE synergy and all of our clubs in the southeast working together to support sports car racing in our regions. Can we send some formal invitations and invite these fine clubbs to wear their shirts and come represent their clubs? They just might end up in some magazines they read monthly...great publicity and media attention for ALL of us and our sport. Thoughts?

I have a shirt ... but it's red. In the timing van it might not matter so much, but on course competitors might think I'm a flag....... ;D

Most of the polo shirts have been sold(they were quite popular at CMP) , we were down to just a few at Wolf Ridge and sold some there as well. We do have Wolf Ridge T-shirts and some from the Blue Ridge HC events.
