Ted, Why not join the Southern Expedition into Pennsylvania for the Duryea Hillclimb in mid August. This is a hill that appreciates power and speed. With over 2 miles in length. Here's a map: www.pahillclimb.org/Courses/Reading.htm It's my favorite in PHA. We could share expenses. Stan

That's a possibility... I need to check to see if there are any other hillclimbs at the same time in the southeast....
You see, I don't have to spend all that gas and drive up all that way up north to get my butt kicked.
George delivers!!! I can stay rrrrrrrrright here!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Great idea Stan...we'll talk. I would love to run it and it would be great for Jerry to see his car again at an event. BANDIT does have some history up there.
Thanks

Well, it is a very historic hill but it basicly is a 1/4 mile uphill to a switchback, a 1/8 mile straight to another switchback and a steep 1/4 mile to the finish. Not very interesting or challenging. I've been there, done it. JMHO www.pahillclimb.org/Courses/Giants.htm

Yes Tommy, I bet the ride in that 900 HP Lola Indy car, that Darrel holds the record with, does make that hill EXCITING!

The Bowland legend continues!!
To paraphrase a saying pertaining to Gen. George S. Patton, Jr.:
Want a hill conquered? Let George do it! ;D
