I had heard that the Danville airport Solo trials event was tentative. It was to be a Autocross not a Time Trial but Steve Thompkins offered to give them Time Trial points when he would not give a legitimate Track Trial points. There is (Blue Ridge Region) no activity regarding event information and supps linked on the SEDiv schedule. The phone number listed as a poc does respond as the working voice mail of the Thompson family.

;DThe Danville, Va. Solo Trials event is going on as scheduled and can be pre-registered via "My Auto Events" per John Thompson's phone call this (Thursday)afternoon. So if you want to do an Solo event with your Time Trial prepped car you can get points for it if the Solo prepped cars don't out run ya.

This event will be very similar to most airport based time trials. Course will have minimal pylons - just a few gates to create some esses. We did a one day event this spring that allowed us to determine what worked and where we needed to change things to make it worthy of time trial points.

Wow this sounds like a lot of fun, as long as a TT license is not required I am in!

The Danville Va. Solo / Track Trial has been canceled by the hosting region due to the expected hurricane level wind and rain.
