Barber Motorsports Park 8/30/08

Well, I missed the the 24 hr autocross to go down to Barber and crew for a friend of mine running a F500. He is getting ready for the runoffs. Between working on the cars, I was able to take a few photos. I also got to meet up with a friend of mine that had the only FA there that weekend. That car is unbelievably fast! I believe he was actually able to lap the entire field within the 15 lap race! On Friday I was even able to catch a ride in my friends F500 for one of the practice sessions. Barber is an incredible track.

I was also at Barber for the double SARRC. Beautiful race track, 1st rate facilities and people that seemed genuinely happy that we were there. Hope to be back next year.

Glad you guys had such a great time!!!! I was supposed to go work F&C (and see old friends), but then I had to work on Sunday evening ... so I went to the 24 hour instead. It ended up being great, of course, but I really wanted to be in two places at once for this one!

Let us know when y'all are going to more races! I always like watching out for people I know as y'all go by.
