So no more STI for me means no more AWD terror at the hillclimbs. It's gone to it's new owner, who will likely only autocross it for a while. Hopefully we can convince him to come do some TT & Hillclimbs in the future.
Anyone looking for a co-drive. ;D
Steven

Steven, I would say you will be missed ... and IF you do not run a hillclimb next year, that would be true. But I suspect you will show up in something at either Wolf Ridge or Eagle's Nest, and whatever it is, I know you will drive the wheels off of it. It is always fun to watch you drive... even at an autocross, where you setting FTD has little to do with what you are driving. Thanks big guy... Ted

Thanks for the kind words Ted. (Of course the correct answer should have been: "Come take the bandit up the hill and see if you can knock George off the top" )

Steven Until you drive the Bandit, I wouldn't get too confident. There is a car available in PA that you can buy for less than you probably got for your car. It is the Ron Moreck car with a big wing and a turbo Mazda. Put your money where etc etc. Email me for contact info, and prepare your wife.......and update your life insurance. George

George Steve, You fired the first shot across George's bow. His response sure sounds like a challenge to me! What say you? www.race-cars.com/carsales/reynard/1166547427/1166547427ss.htm

Dave...
That was not a shot over George's bow... Steven is crazy enough to run an enclosed production car up a mountain but not crazy enough to :
A. Tug on Superman's cape B. Spit in to the wind C. Pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger OR D. Mess with the King ...
George is not losing any sleep... he's heard the wind blow before.
Maybe Steven and Jon K. could go in together on a purple A Mod special. Those two could push each other to heights unknown...
(well, unknown to anyone but George...he knows those levels well and has established residence a few levels up from there... ;D)

Ted,
Jim Croce would be proud!!
It would be cool to see more cars like yours and George's at our venues. I don't think it would take long for Steve to get comfortable with one of those monster machines.
If Steve has not tugged on Superman's cape, I think he may be already wearing the mask of the O'l Lone Ranger and reaching for the cape. ;D
Heck, maybe I need Stan to sell his car and get interested in A-Mod and Specials. The view from my position on the dog sled team might improve.

I've pee'd into the wind - does that count? haha George, I'm just going to work on loosing a little weight, so I can just drive your monster. It would be a lot cheaper that way.
