Ok Guys. Three are listed in Charlotte. Based on the notes, sounds like we're talking about the one next to I-77 and W.T. Harris (South -east corner). Any more votes for Hickory Tavern.

Hmm..... If you guys are going to start at 6:30pm, how late will you stay?
I don't get out of work until 7pm and coming from south Charlotte. I would get there late. I may be able to swap schedules with somebody, but thats unlikely.

Yep, MrsVlad - they serve Tweety wings at QS&L, in different levels of hotness up to Atomic (you have to sign an SCCA type waiver - we could set up a waiver table at the door). It is a fun place with an Indy car hanging from the ceiling, etc. Could become a regular spot for us - very automotive.
