I am hoping to get info regarding an annual tech for TT cars (Level 3&4) to hopefully make a announcement at Jekyll that we are actually going to implement this in SEDIV. Annual tech is already in the SCCA TT rulebook so we can do this from a rule stand point however I would like to get a list of licensed tech inspectors for TT in SEDIV (there is a Time Trial Inspector license). Since your region conducts TT's I would like to make it easier for the tech inspectors at TT's SEDIV-wide to have the annual techs and be comfortable with the out-of-towners with annual techs. ALL I ASK IS: A name/contact of a your areas licensed RR or TT inspector that normally takes care of your regions TT events. With the help of that contact we will make sure that the SEDIV events or TT's in general in the southeast recognize the annual techs. Also understand the Road Race cars that have RR annual tech are good to go (believe or not there has been confusion before) and need not have a TT annual tech. I hope to have a list to start out of annual TT teched cars for each region to know about before their event ( that may be easier said than done ) and eventually either a sticker or stamp that is different from road racing to help keep them seperate. Why am I doing this? Well I have heard some compliants during these last few years regarding the rule differences that hangs up a few of the inspectors. Hopefully knowledge will be good and we can have a good experience at tech at TT's. Thanks for your help.
