Hi all...Live in Sanford and within days should receive my Solstice ordered in Sept. Will be interested in SOLO and RoadRallies. Wife and I were very active in sports car rallies, racing gymkanas etc. a long time ago, 50's, in Europe with our 100M Healey and AC Bristol as well as a highly modified Opel GT later, late 60's, in Italy. Am interested in a stock class if there is one our car is elgible for. Also would like to get a schedule of events we can attent to meet you all, observe and learn in the near future. I am 73 and my wife is 70. Presently our only racing is competeing on our racing bicycles.

I belive you will be in C stock along with the 1.8L Miatas and the new Miata. You can find a scheduale of events on the main page www.ccrscca.com . Our next event is May 13th at Knights stadium in Fort Mill, SC. I hope you can make it and look foward to meeting you. |

I don't know about C stock. The NBs have like 20-30 less HP than the NCs. I don't know how the suspensions compare between them.

Chuck, Congrats on the new car. I would check out the Tarheel Sports Car Club and also the NCR region if you're interested in motorsports. I was just in Sanford this past weekend autocrossing at the old airport with the Tarheel club. Tarheel has another event there June 11th, if you're interested in checking it out. You can visit there site for more info. www.thscc.comFor autocrosses in the Cape Fear region and Road Rallies, you can visit www.ncrscca.com. The CF chapter has a road rally The same day, June 11th in Kinston/New bern. I've done a couple of road rallies with the CF chapter and they are a lot of fun.
