The economy is affecting us all individually and motorsports will no doubt feel it this year. We need to all stick together and help each other out whether it is course working, driving, helping in managing of events, getting new people involved or finding sponsors for events. We ALL have the chance to help.
Attendance is down for Wolf Ridge hillclimb and we need some more entries. If you have ever wanted to try a hillclimb or know someone that might be interested, please let us know. It's not too late. Bring your car, your regional road race license... bring a friend and get some one else hooked on our sports!
We have course workers, spectators and sponsors coming and need to put on a good show. Your support is genuinely appreciated ... and who knows? You might find some new excitement in racing that is a bit more economical. Don't let the fact that you can't see around the corners scare you "flat tracker" boys off! ;D Mike Burke is joining Scott Franklin, Craig Farr and many other road racers in finding hillclimbing offers a great racing experience like no other!
If you want a challenge, you'll find a number of our drivers can give you all you want. Stan Vann and Dave Cutchins in FF, Willie in his new Diasio, George in the Shark, JK in that Quick TR6... if you want competition, bring your A game. Hillclimb is a unique environment you will enjoy. As an added plus, you don't have to worry about someone using you as a brake or having to fix your car because someone else ran out of skill. Running hillclimbs is a part of southern racing history dating back to mid 50's when some crazy Americans saw what Europeans were doing on mountain roads and said "We can do that too!" Enter Carrol Shelby, Mark Donahue, Ted Tidwell, Elliot Forbes Robinson, John Finger, George Bowland and many other famous drivers. This is something you need to add to your racing experience resume ... and Wolf Ridge is one beautiful course for a place to start. Do it now!

No late fees, beautiful mountain views with chalets within walking distance of the paddock, indoor swimming pool 50 yards from paddock. Remember the hot summer days and rainy weekends at the track? Well.. Your wife deserves a race outing like this!!!!
Thanks
Ted
