Jolly good show!! Definately something to keep going. Even if it is beer and social lol.
As far as club "business" went, I believe there were some ideas talked about that could be worked on more and we now have ideas as to how.

Glad to have been there. I cant wait to get out on course and hang out with yall... yes, I am from New York and use that word. But anyway, meeting was great, lets try to pick a day, like 2nd or 3rd wednesday every month? be easier for people to plan ahead. Also, I mentioned to Rich, how bout a Xmas Party in Dec. Not much going on, I THINK, atleast there wasnt in NY. Videos, pics, games, grab bag??? all for fun, and alot of thrash talking, we always get faster the more we drink, LOL. Anyway, I am talking , typing wayyy to much here. great meeting everyone, and looking foward to the 20th and 23rd. Bill Cox

Great meeting, good turnout! We even had road racers show up. Thank goodness no one asked for Soloracer stories! Many good ideas, now we have to implement the ideas discussed. Call to race shops: may we visit you? Think of the free advertising. Booger: you are always welcome, we miss you. cr89x: Indeed! This club is great. Was nice to see you again. So many ideas, may we expand on them. Wcox32*****8...........whatever, Another YANKEE? Well i married one and a Polish one at that. I fully agree a set date would go a long way to assuring attendance. BTW the Polish people are fantastic. Here is the deal, I offer as a model car fan i will donate a model as a door prize at the next social. We need to pass out tickets for the door prize.
I will announce the prize prior to the next meeting. Hope this helps, James

Hope this helps, James race shops: I know a few people at Roush/Fenway, couple at Hendrick, and a bunch of Stewart-Haas guys are very frequent customers to my restaurant. One of our fellow autocrossers has his hand somehow in the newly formed USGPE, that is the F1 team. I will let that person reveal himself if he wishes.

Race shops are great to do as a tour, but what I think would be better, is local shops, shops that the average person would go to get stuff. Maybe a dealer ship that has a conference room. I know of a shop in charlotte that has a get together every wednesday night and opens his lifts to local BMW members for them to do some things to there cars. I can chat with him and see if we can work something out to have a meeting there, and maybe we can help some with preventive maitnance.
Just throwing ideas out.

Touring a big shop would be fun. I would prefer the local shop, bring a case of beer or four, and maybe do some parts awareness or PM like someone said. James and Jeanie, yes very VERY nice see you two again. Will Cox, nice meeting you sir, very much. some may consider one yankee welcoming another, I call it one racer to another. "Outsider" input would be great for the club.
Well get there guys. some sort of cool race montage or something of the sort playing would be cool too.
