I fixed the leak. It was a bad O-ring on the part of the lower fitting that is bolted to the front of the pump. I believe it is the return line (the fitting with the hose that clamps on). The pump is silent now. No more foam.

Did you use an MLS headgasket when assembling the motor? Hopefully you did.

Man, it's been so long since I installed that head, but if I recall correctly, that is what was in the kit.
