My "new" 1998 Dodge Neon ACR has a slight wobble in the steering wheel when going thru a sweeper - like a clover leaf off ramp. I experience this two days ago so I put on new tie rod ends. I drove my test loop again and the mid-turn wobble was reduced by still there. Could there be something wrong with the rack or is that just crappy Neon steering?

Michael, I do not know Neons... but I had a simuliar experience, Frustrrated me as nothing was out of order in steering rack or suspension that I could tell. Finally turned out to be ...wheel balance. Sounds crazy but it transmits it directly to your hands... driving straight, no wobble... but in a turn with camber, the weight load is off center of the wheel...and THAT was enough to make it shake like that. Maybe not it but it's worth checking ... it's a cheap fix too! Occam's Razor.... ;D good luck! Ted

Mike, it may be time for a new alignment.
I installed new tie rod ends with a 150k old steering rack, i thought i got the toe pretty good..and went for a drive and the car felt like complete crap..scary to drive almost. I took it to Marske, and the car felt simply amazing afterwards..im betting you need the same.

Well Mark aligned my car this morning. Using the camber bolts, I got less than -1.5 degrees of camber. That'll have to do. The car seems to track better now. I am anxious about tomorrow. I hope I don't blow it up. BTW: Make sure if Mark does your alignment, he torques the lug nuts! ;D. Mark: my wheels didn't fall off after all.

Guess what folks! I didn't do my fourth run (2010 CCR Autocross #1) because I thought something broke on my car during run number three. I heard a crunching sound from the left front... ...my wheel was about to fall off! Every wheel was slightly loose. I re-torqued and everything was fine, but I decided not to go back and take my last run. I had FSP in the bag because I was the only one in FSP.

LOL to 1 of 1.
Did you just forget to torque them or are you having an issue? Otherwise I'd have to say your "paranioa" has been all for not.
