Thanks CCR for another great show... everyone pulled together and in spite of weather, we all had a great time. Special thanks to :
Don Drennon, Jim & Amy Brock, Chris and ALL the course workers - responsiveness, cool under fire (even in the pits), great communications, on time and ready to rock. Thank you for all you do. Chris - GREAT job in the flag stand...you were learning from the BEST! Ron Wilcox - thanks for covering sound...Chief Stew loved the new forms.
Drivers - you came, you put on a great show, and you drove hard. THANKS! Hope this will be an event you keep on your schedule EVERY year!
CCR Board Members - The Gauses, Wentworths, Eckerichs and the Seilers - Sound control, cooking GREAT hamburgers, getting ice and sandwiches for lunches, registrations, solving problems, being PROACTIVE and always on the move. You guys were everywhere and we do appreciate it. We have as active a Board as you can find. The car that caught fire in the pits was fixed and able to get back on track by Steve E. Fixing cars, solving problems as event chair... oh yeah, I think Steve raced somewhere in there but not sure how he did.
Stewards - Thanks for helping conduct a great event... the ideas you passed on for next one will be followed up.
Thanks for support from other regions like Aimee, Nick and Marcel from SC Region. It's easy to think when a region is putting on the event, it is only staffed with their members... we consistently have people serving in many posts from all over southeast regions and we are pleased to reciprocate. THANK YOU!
