Autocross – Road Race – Time Trial – Rally – Collectors – Restoration – or just Sports Car Lovers!
Meeting – June 10th Thursday at Quaker Steak and Lube off Woodruff Rd.
I would like to invite you to attend our June SWCCCR meeting! Eat from 6 to 7 and meet from 7 to 8:30 (although parking lot meetings have gone on until 11 to 11:30.)
As always, we will re-cap recent motorsports events, cover all up-coming autocrosses, car shows, time trials and road races. We’ll also have time for swap and sell so if you have items for sale or trade, bring a good description. Scott Franklin will have some updates on road racing. The Clemson Sports Car Club should have a report on their next autocross in Anderson. Ron Wilcox will have a report on CMP Lemons race.
I will be speaking on Hillclimbing. With the Wolf Ridge Hillclimb coming up this weekend, we'll give you a report on what to expect, how courses are laid out, where to take pictures and info how things are run. If you or your friends are interested in getting started in time trial or hillclimb, this would be a great time to invite them. We may even talk John Finger into saying a few words about his experiences as one of the best hillclimbers in the southeast. We always try to have some cars on display but you are always welcome to bring yours and park in our show area!
