I'm looking to upgrade my harness system, mainly for the driver. I have acquired what I need in harness, however lack the seat to properly utilize my new harness. Does anyone have a seat laying around that they wouldn't mind getting rid of that would be able to accommodate a 6pt harness?
All responses are greatly appreciated!

Just an FYI, if you intend on autocrossing the Miata with a harness, and using the harness when you run, the rules require that you have a roll bar...
That said, seats and a harness make a BIG difference!!

Already got a roll bar, thanks for the heads up though!
I do need a harness bar, or a proper way to mount it though.

I still think a kirkey classic/ econo is comfortable. If ya cant find anything start checking on the late model action sights and such. See if ya can find one and pull the head rest out of it. It just depends on what you are comfortable in driving around in. Remember though with race seats such as the one 101101 is saleing come in different sizes. You need to get one at least close to the proper size to be safe and comfortable for you to drive in. Just by looking at you I would guess your around a 14" maybe smaller. That is measured by the distance between the sides of the base of the seat where your butt goes.

^ thanks for the info! I ended up buying 101101's seat, its a 16 inch which works well for me! albeit a 15 probably would have worked better. Now all I need is a harness bar, or other way to mount the belts and im solid.

You can always add a little padding under the seat cover to help the fit.
