CCR-SCCA will once again be participating in the Food Lion Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Dates - August 28 & 29 Info on Auto Fair - www.charlotte-autofair.com/CCR will be displaying 10 cars on Saturday and Sunday. The rules / conditions for showingThe car MUST be able to get into the Speedway under its own power. NO towing, pushing or dragging. Trailered cars must be unloaded behind the Speedway and driven in through the back tunnel. Your car must be clean. You are representing CCR and the SCCA. Over 100,000 people attend Auto Fair. We want to present good looking cars for them. NO FOR SALE SIGNS! Let me say that again, NO FOR SALE SIGNS! NO grilling. The show is a full day. We'll be meeting in the morning at 6:15-6:30 and have to stay at the track until late in the afternoon. If you cannot be at the show for the entire day please do not ask to attend. Meeting place is the Ruby Tuesday's next to Jack In The Box on Speedway / Bruton Smith Bvld. You can attend Saturday or Sunday or both days. There is no admission or parking charges. You get a pass for your car, you and a guest. You can bring food, drink, chairs, sunscreen, etc. NO GRILLS! Any kind of SCCA-related car is acceptable. Street, SOLO, time trial, road race, hillclimb... just make sure it's clean. |

Willie said he should be able to bring the Diasio as long as there is nothing going on at Eagles Nest that weekend. I talked to him, I just thought I would mention it on here just in case he doesn't get on here. lol.

ok..if I dont end up in the hospitial again I would like to bring the rx7 Sat. not sure about Sunday,it needs all the spiders ran out of it and a wash job..or I could bring the vette..

I'm moving into college again earlier that week however I may just come down on saturday and be apart of the display, since I really wanted to last year and it looks like a good time... Put me down as a maybe for now but I'll let you know within the next couple days if I'm for suresies (<LOL!!!) or not. If I do the car will be in full Franken-Scoob setup, boosted etc etc so it'll be lookin sharp (or so I will think haha). I'll keep you posted lulz

I'd like to bring the Z out. I can only get a kichen pass for one day so put me down for Sunday since it looks to be lighter on participation.

Questions though, if we bring a guest, are they able to leave to pick someone up and return, what about leaving the car at the fair to go and get something to eat from nearby?

Once the car is inside the track, it's in until the end of the day. People can come and go, but you have to make the hike up the stands and out the main gate. |

Josh, I think you will be the only Subaru at AutoFair. Since last fall I don't think any of us have ever seen a Subaru there. lol. Well never mind I take that back, Phil had his Subaru there in the spring. lol.
