I know its not the area anyone could really think of as being the ideal place to spend any amount of time at but they have some big areas around there from what i've seen, looks to be pretty smooth. Might be worth talking to them and seeing what could happen. maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Eastland+Mall,+Charlotte,+NC&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=41.632176,93.076172&ie=UTF8&hq=Eastland+Mall,&hnear=Charlotte,+Mecklenburg,+North+Carolina&ll=35.208065,-80.750585&spn=0.00526,0.011362&t=h&z=17

There's a lot of great pavement being totally unused around Eastland. The place is totally empty. Nobody around.
I stood out there for about 45 minutes at lunch one day.....didn't see a soul. Walked around. Looked at pavement and possibilities. Seems fairly unlimited.

Part of the mall is in the process of being sold and the city owns part of it, so I would guess that it would be hard to get everyone together to agree to letting us use the site. Dave
