I've been doing some testing today to try and see if we have an emitter or sensor going bad. I made some short timing cables (about 6 feet) and set everything up with a dummy event in AXWare.
I let AXWare run with timing turned on for about 30 minutes, doing some start and finish triggers. I then sent some false finishes and then let the system sit. After 30 minutes, no false finishes.
I then swapped where the start and finish cables plug into the AXWRATS box. I repeated doing some starts, finishes and false finishes, then let it sit. Again, no false finishes.
I think that the problems we're seeing at events with false finishes are from a cable or at least a bad connector.
I'll get some CAT-5 before zMAX and make a new cable for finish during setup on Friday.

That's great Rich. It is definitely helpful when we don't get false trips.... makes for a much smoother event.
Thank you!
