Great meeting with the Southwest Chapter last night!!! Thanks for all that came! We had 51 in attendance... counting Jeremy Cox's son Caleb (who turns 2 next week). He's the latest in the Cox Racing Driver Franchise. John Barber (President of the Clemson Sports Car Club) covered their upcoming Clemson Motorsports Festival and Autocross - April 2nd. If you'd like to show your car or run in the autocross, they love to have you. More info at www.clemsonscc.org/thread-11367.html We had reports on Lemons race, CMP Track day and plans for SC Region's Buck Muse Memorial Road race. They still need volunteers for course working so please sign up and help if you are free that weekend. Nic Langford of OHLINS put on a great presentation on shocks and suspension technology. Starting off with a basic damper, he carried us all the way through to external reservoir remote controlled racing shocks. The level of complexity and engineering are impressive but the results in performance is where it counts and OHLINS is doing well on many motorsports fronts. With over 80% of all NASCAR teams owning their own Shaker Systems, that level of R&D is a must to be competitive. Thanks to Nic for coming to speak to us and answering our questions before and after the meeting! See you next month! Ted and Scott Attachments:
