Well you are in the right area. Plenty of pretty, nice, challenging race tracks within two hours of Charlotte.

thanks for the reply. I see you have a CRX and a Miata. I had an 87 CRX back in '89 or so. My Dad (recently passed) has an '03 Miata which I helped him pick out. And I just bought an '06 RX-8 Shinka edition. Financially, I'm sure it'll be fall or next spring 'till I can track my car but I look forward to learning in the meantime and perhaps tag along on a road trip also. BTW, I'm in Shelby.

So are you going to start by doing a couple track days with the RX8? Shelby is a nice rural location. I was in Kings Mountain for a few years and loved it.

I hope to but still learning requirements, etc. I used to work at Plonk tires in KM back in the 80's. Good people, good service. So, where ya at now?
