I got a few questions this weekend asking for more info on the CMP Memorial Monster weekend. Where can information be found?
Also, the real reason for posting this up, is the request for corner working information. There are a few boys very interested and ready to help. I was able to tell them what to expect but that was about it. I'm not sure as to what I am going to do during the race yet. Not sure if someone needs crew or if I'll work a corner. The F6 will not be in attendance so I am definately on the freelance now.

Don Drennon is our flag chief and he'll be the ultimate answer, but I can field basic info and put them in touch with Don. The can contact me through this site, Scott@ccrscca.com. We always like to have new folks come out and give volunteering in any specialty a try. Some of us find we really like it!!

Yea I know...Chris is SCARED of CMP... LOL! Not scared, just don't like it. Even if you don't hit that uncalled for rumble strip on the exit of 14 that sent me airborne over a foot in the air and busted my suspension, it is a rough track that is very hard on consumables. I can get through 2 possibly 3 weekends on a set of brakes at tracks like VIR and Road Atlanta, but have trouble even making it through a weekend on one set of brakes at CMP. There are plenty of races in the SEDIV to get in a full season at tracks like VIR, Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, CMS, Daytona, etc. that I just choose to not run at CMP. I will be there with the Elise for the Autocross though.

Next to VIR, CMP is my favorite track..I love it...Grip sucks, but it is the same for all...I will not Run Road Atlanta...I deem that way to dangerous a track, walls are way to close...one mistake, and you car is toast...

Lee, I wouldn't call it pestering. I'm more than happy with your interest, and I know the road race drivers are as well. Without people like you, the event can not happen.

No worries, Lee: Try again to ddrennon@gmail.com. It's the address I've been using for years now.
In the meantime: What do you need to know?
cheers,
DD

Mark, I believe that Dave may have some cream for Ray's itch. :-) Are you two running the CCPS or the SARRC?

Mark, I believe that Dave may have some cream for Ray's itch. :-) Are you two running the CCPS or the SARRC? Scott Yes, doing the whole deal, we're each running 1 SARRC and co-driving both CCPS...what's in that salve? or is it a balm? AND, I'll be bringing your wheels...

When you two start talking salve and balm it is time to go private, real private.

Steve, I'm trying to figure out where the wheels come into play with the salve / balm. The only answers I can come up with I don't want to think about.
Mark seems kinda excited about the wheels.

At the very least we have a start to a very bad country song. I'm just glad to see Mark and Ray racing.
