For those that don't know, my father was diagnosed with MS many years ago. He's taking the approach that I expect - he's fighting.
He's participating in the Wilmington walk to raise money for MS research as a virtual walker. Please see the info below and consider donating.
Thanks!!!
Dear Friends and Family,
The 2011 Walk MS is fast approaching. I am a little late getting my request out. Really; I am a lot late. Life has been very busy. However, it only takes a few minutes to donate on-line so there is plenty of time before the Walk on April 30.
I have signed up as a virtual walker because one of my MS symptoms is that I get fatigued pretty quickly. All local donors are invited to join our team, MS Moments, for the beautiful 4-mile Walk around Greenfield Lake. Please click on the link to my page, below, and Donate To Brian because I do not have a team in my name.
You can follow my fund-raising progress on my personal page and do not worry, the amount you donate will not appear, only your name.
If you prefer, you may mail a check to me and I will forward it to the Society. We all know that we are in difficult financial times, but whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Even donating the cost of a few cups of fancy coffee will help. Thank you.
