The Inaugural Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb is now in the history books. There were things that worked out better than we'd hoped, and one or two things that didn't work quite as well as we'd liked, but I want to personally thank everyone who came as a competitor, spectator, crew, vendor, or in any other capacity. He was recognized at the awards ceremony, but I want to thank Alan Shephard who came from Bushnell, Florida just to volunteer. This guy was everywhere and was already completing tasks before he could be asked to do them. He is on his way to Barber Motorsports Park now to volunteer more. This event came together and took place faster than we could ever imagine. Thanks to the US Forest Service, Graham County, Killboy.com, and many others that I can't recall this morning.

Glad y'all had fun!!
It was a LONG weekend!! Wish the timing crew could have made it down for the awards, but we had a ton of stuff to pack up.

Thanks Rich for all the hard work you put in this weekend. Same for Nick Hallman. Timing is always a challenge under the best of circumstances and this hill threw problems at you that no one could have seen coming. After this weekend you could probably write an encyclopedia on timing a hill climb and not scratch the surface of the hurdles you overcame.
Great job!!
