The owner of that car has been updating its status on Apexspeed. They recovered the car at a house, but someone escaped out the back and the other two dudes were on the run with the truck and trailer. I presume they have arrest warrants out on all three so it is only going to be a matter of time before they are caught. Car had been sprayed with primer as a start to disguising it when the cops found it.

Did they mention what plans the theives had? Were they going to try to race it themselves or soemthing.

This sort of thing happens on a regular basis, ususally the theives take the hauler and find a race car. To try to re-sell or race this car would be stupid in the extreme...log book w/picture, stamped roll bar make it kinda tough to pull off. The rig can be replaced with insurance, the car is another thing.
