OK CCR Family - The last recommendation went so well, I got another repair need from a co-work... Looking for a welder that can patch an exhaust pipe.
One of our German interns has a 95 civic.. By what he is describing, it sounds like there is a leak in his Y-pipe, and he would like to get it welded. I asked him why not get a new one? , and after a lengthy conversation, it sounds like it might be a JDM part.. Whatever.. So anybody set up to weld such a thing? And I'm gonna guess that it's going to still be on the car. (He's an MBA type, not an engineer)
Post back or PM me if interested and I'll pass along the contact info.

Contact Vic French he is a good welder and may have access to portable equipment. Otherwise have your friend remove the part and we can meet somewhere I can weld it up at work on a break. He would be down for a day but it would be repaired.
