Last night I lost two tires on my crx bending one rim as a result. So I need street wheels and tires 15" would be perfect. Let me know what you have and how much you want. Thanks

I pulled into a parking lot was cruising at paddoc speed about 10-15 mph. Swerved to avoid something in my lane and hit the curb. The front wheel actually fractured because the tire basically disappeared the second it touched the curb. The rear wheel impacted the curb and didn't bend but the rear tire likewise instantly failed.
Let this be a lesson know the age of your tires, much past 5 years they are a time bomb.

I have newish (late 2009 prod and less than 5k miles) tires on black steel wheels now. An expense I should have taken care of before this happened not after.

Let this be a lesson know the age of your tires, much past 5 years they are a time bomb. great story!!! sorry for your trouble though....someday I'll have to introduce you to my 'practice' lot....secluded, lit, not locked @ night, not toooo many obstacles & [the best part], you can drive it like an autox w/o worrying about traffic, or curbs, or people, or junk, or being noticed, or whatever else might be lurking about to try & destoy an otherwise lovely evening.... you won't have to worry about those 5 yr old tires again....klb. |
