SOLD!
Well, I honestly had no intentions of letting this car go, but I've stumbled into a deal for another car that I've always lusted after, and the Miata must go to make room
Black on tan '99 Miata, 5 speed, 190k miles. Equipped with both the "Popular Equipment Package" (4.30 Torsen LSD, cruise control, power antenna, power locks, power windows, power mirrors), but also the "Leather package." Southern car, zero rust anywhere. No wrecks, all original paint, clean title.
Mechanically, the car is awesome. Stout 1.8, solid transmission, good working/noise-free Torsen rear end. Doesn't leak or burn a drop of anything. Cosmetically, it's very presentable, but not perfect. Some scaring on the front bumper cover and edge of the hood from an incident with the previous owner and a post-office vehicle, a couple dings down the driver's side, and another scar on the right corner of the rear bumper. The car details out very nicely though.
The fun list:

-Robbins black streamline soft-top with glass, defroster window, and rain rail (not yet installed)
Clutch was replaced roughly 12k miles ago. Original speakers were replaced with Infiniti Kappa components, headunit is an aftermarket piece with radio/cd/aux input.
Interior is in fairly good shape overall. Carpet is a little dirty, steering wheel leather is worn, and the driver's-side door panel shows some wear. Seats are soft and supple and the dash is perfect. I have a perfect rear deck carpet to replace the stained one in the car currently.
Only mechanical issues; 949 endlinks rattle occasionally, and the check engine light comes and goes for the legendary '99/00 Miata EGR code. I've performed the EGR re-route which helped, but ultimately the intake manifold and EGR need to be popped off and cleaned to keep the code off.
A/C is phenomenal in this car. After owning 5 Miata's, I didn't think they could have good a/c, but this one proved me wrong. Great heat as well. Cruise works, radio/speaker combo is potent. Very comfortable set-up overall.
Have a perfect condition BRG OEM hardtop on the car currently, equipped with a headliner and defroster. Also have a pair of 10th AE sideskirts that I was torn on using or not, and have yet to be painted.
(with the previous red hardtop)
The car drives great, is reliable, surprisingly comfortable, not very loud, and looks sharp (aside from the mis-matched top ) This has been my favorite Miata, and I would love to keep it, but vintage ///M ownership beckons, and the Miata must go.
