2012 Fiat 500C ... newest addition to the grarage

WE just bought Dagmar a new daily driver... a 2012 Fiat 500C. So far, I am impressed! I am 6'4" and I have 2 " clearance above my head sitting in driver's seat. The entry is easy and the door is almost 2/3rd the length of the car. We got the roll back top like Dagmar had on one of her Fiat's she owned in Switzerland... works smoothly, very little road noise and you can open and close it completely at 70 mph! The car handles very nicely.. a lot of little options that make it fun from mp3/ipod hook ups, manual shift, back up sensors, 8 air-bags... pretty slick little machine and 38 MPG.

LISTEN CLOSELY .. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!
THIS IS DAGMAR'S car... it is NOT for autocross. I have NO intention in ever autocrossing it as it is HER car. It would put unnecessary wear and tear on her daily driver and that would be foolish

If you should happen to run in to Dagmar Christmas shopping and the topic of the car should come up, THAT is what you should tell her.

Because
A.) it is estimated to be priced at $28K... that's stripped... no seats, no steering wheel... no pedals... you know how they do.
B.) it will not be available in NC until probably June of 2012
