For the second year in the road, the SWCCCR took up donations and helped staff the Coats for Kids program for the Upstate area. Our members donated a total of $200 and supplied 6 workers for assembly of Christmas set, staffing of dinner and distribution of coats and presents to kids of less fortunate families. Over 220 kids were present for the celebration tonight... Santa and the SCCA Dragon made an appearance. The kids had a blast and it was a wonderful experience for all involved. Thanks again to the CCR members involved and the donations we received. I wish I could put into words what we saw but it was a special night in a lot of young people's lives.
