I would like to nominate this : one Unicorn ceramic statue, with Dove and Emu feathered wings with a light in the base that projects up through the wings allowing them and the horn to change colors. This fine piece measures 14" long and 12" tall and I firmly believe it deserve the title of WORST CHRISTMAS PRESENT of 2011. Can you top that? Attachments:

I've got a collection of "my lil ponies" & over the years have amassed quite a huge collection of "painted ponies"...having had horses most of my life there's not much I haven't looked at that has to do with horses @ one time or another...Ted, that "thing'' is very, very, sad....& NO it won't be coming to live w me...you could add it to the inventory for our Craig's list conglomerate...you never know, times are very strange, LOL...to think the original idea might even have been artistic...klb

Thanks to the wonder of intarwebz and our wonderful forum, the flying unicorn ceramic statue has a new home with another CCR member's daughter... a connection made here on our forum which revealed that the new owner lives 5 miles from my home! I am happy to report Michael came by, picked it up and brought it home to his daughter who I am told is "thrilled" with the acquisition. My German wife (Dagmar) is greatly pleased that the Unicorn has a new home. We weren't sure exactly where to put it but my wife had made several un-lubricated and rather aggressive suggestions. Christmas is not just one day a year.... and one man's junk is truly another man's daughter's treasurer.

So theeeeeeen what did you buy Dagmar?? Here you go, Ted... www.amazon.com/Leupold-Torx-Screw-Kit-52395/dp/B001HN5GZS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1325072382&sr=8-5From what little I've done to the MINI, I've determined that Germans LOVE Torx screws. It must be their favorite thing in the world from the sheer number of them that they use to fasten everything. Make your wife happy... give her the gift of Torx!

So theeeeeeen what did you buy Dagmar?? What did I get Dagmar? Well...it's been a rough Christmas. She got a Fiat 500C... and then a Golden Retriever Puppy, then the fridge went bad (only 5 years old) and she "engineer researched" a double french door modern unit with lower freezer drawer (I swear... if I ever pay over $2000 for ANYTHING again, it better have tires and a gear shift OR be something I can live in.) And now the Dishwasher is acting up. Old things are being replaced so rapidly here I fear my position as Vice-President of household may be in danger. If there are problems, I plan to use my 49% percent of the vote very wisely. ;D I will keep the Torx in mind. She DOES have her own set of tools including all TORX bits...and if I borrow them without asking, send cards and flowers to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
And now the Dishwasher is acting up.
As long as it keeps acting you're fine...it's when it becomes a mime that things really go bad...
