Im getting ready to purchase my SCCA membership, If I do not have a hard copy of my weekend memberships is there another way I can get a hold of the form number I need to put in for the membership discount?

I think you only have 2 weeks after a weekend membership to get the discount rate from it. I think you can get the same discount by using someone as a referral (which will also give them a slight discount on renewal). So pick someone you want to get your $5 kickback and use them as the referral number when you join. You'll need their name and member number which are on AutoX results if you're in a rush to get it and don't want to call/text/email someone to ask for their info. There's a big discount for military members, too. I think you'll have to get it in the form of a rebate, however... after you fax/email copies of your military ID to the SCCA www.scca.com/about/index.cfm?cid=44704Hope that helps. |

Yeah I have a referral, and plan on using the miltary discout. I do appriciate the clarification.

You should be getting a copy when you sign the weekend membership, the pink copy. But I don't think our registration people have been very good about doing that...
I usually keep the club copy for a while (yellow copy) after an event. AJ should have them from the Toys for Tots event.

I get them, I just haven't been saving them. So I didnt know if there was another way for the discount but if theres a 2 week limit then they are no good.

A bit of googling shows I'm wrong... it's 2 MONTHS, not 2 weeks. So yeah, talk to AJ and he should have what you're looking for
Looks like you can also apply the one from the November Carowinds AutoX or the SCR Myrtle Beach AutoX for a $30 discount

And on a side note, we REALLY need someone to handle memberships at events. It'll be your work assignment. Added bonus - if someone joins and puts you down as their referral you get $5 off when you renew.
One year my membership was $45 instead of the full $80 or whatever it is.
