So what does happen after a racer retires? What about one that has helped numerous people over 40+ years of racing? Someone that helped other racers get started, guided them onto track?
Well, you throw them a party, invite people from across the country and have a good night...
Last Thursday we went to Wilmington for just such a party - for my dad. We called it the reunion of the Brian Little School of Racing. We had some racing folks from when dad was in Oklahoma in the 60s, Spartanburg in the 70s and 80s, and new racers from current day.
It was a real shock to have three guys fly out just for the party from Oklahoma!
