She won't have to work as long as she isn't registered as a participant... if you race, you work. If you watch, you don't have to work. She can bring her car, no problem. Spouses, parents, siblings, kids, friends... everyone is welcome to come and go as they please from the site. As long as they sign the waiver at the gate and get a wristband, we are good. I like having a "pit car" to throw all my crap in. As a novice, it won't matter a ton whether you run BS (stock class) or STR. Your PAX (kinda like a golf handicap) will be different between the two different classes, but again your novice year should be more about learning to drive, not numbers... and as always, having fun! I say leave the FIPK in and run STR. be sure to have her sign in as "crew" .... solo 2 is not a "spectator" sport .... has to do with the insurance weenies ... or something ...

Everyone needs to start bribing the weather man to change the weather for Saturday. 70% chance of rain at this point.

Depends on who you look at... AccuWeather - Sunshine and clouds, 60 degrees. Weather.com - Mostly cloudy, 57 degrees. WeatherBug - Partly sunny, 55 degrees.
No telling what will actually happen!!!

LOL! They just updated it because a couple of hours ago Weather.com was calling for rain. How do you go from 70% chance of rain to partly sunny and 10% chance of rain in just a couple of hours? I think the weather man is smoking something!

For one ... Why the BLEEP are you mentioning the weather and that dirty "R" word?!!!! We will not be running on the sealer for this event, at least much of it and it'll be fairly straight on it.

With the recent shuffle in BSP-ASP-ASP I see a few cars registered in the wrong class. Id expect to see alot of confusion unless that gets clarified sooner than later. Maybe ensure that registration people are clear on the re-org.

Typically will run as long as there is no danger to the workers...like lightening or 80 mph winds and golf ball sized hail.

If you pre-paid and can't make it we'll refund... No problem. Just email me - rich@ccrscca.com - and I can take care of it.

Maybe ensure that registration people are clear on the re-org. It will help to double check your classing BEFORE you get to registration. You know your car, the registation folks don't and it's the responsibility of the driver/owner to class their car correctly. If you want the registration line to move quickly this will be a big help. Also, there will be a table set up apart from the registration line for those that do not have a current SCCA membership. This is so you can get your weekend or renewal membership paperwork done BEFORE you register
