One of the items I need to pick up for this season is a harness for my RX-7. What are your thoughts on a 5pt vs 6pt? Or are people just going with the best deal they find?
More e-mail questions coming. ;D

Mike I will assume you are talking for road race with my answers.
Be sure to spend a little extra and get a set with FIA sert as they are good for 5 years, while regular are good for only 2. All are good for 5 years for TT. Personal preference for mounting and comfort (read one strap down the sweet spot) is for 6 point so they seperate and go back to the sides. Also camlock are great for being able to hook one belt at a time and not have to gather them all at once to get in.

Yes, this is for time trials and hillclimbs. Thanks for the advice. Makes sense. Think I'm going with the 6pt.

I am a big fan of Discovery Parts out of Atlanta. They have good prices and outstanding service.
