It's a Double SARRC/Double Carolina Cup weekend at CMP. Here's your chance to get the "Second Best Seat In The House" by becoming a Road Race "worker". F&C, Tech, T&S, all kinds of specialties await. No experience required to get in and get involved. Only 3 requirements, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a love of cars. Oh, yes, when in doubt, wear white(you just might be working a corner ) Sign up here... www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/event.advert/uidEvent/88701C5E-DF82-29A5-790A07DF881C6DCF

I'm still trying to talk my wife into coming down and working Timing & Scoring. Do you know if that simulation you guys talked about at the ABM will be ready by then so I can try to convince her to commit to it?
Either way, I'll be there for F&C
Edit: That also brings up another question I had... can I upgrade my membership to a "Family" membership to include her, or what do I have to do to get her SCCA membership & Reg T&S license?

Not sure about a simulation as this is a SCR not CCR event. I'm just posting so folks will be aware of the opportunity. Specific questions should be directed to SCR.
A weekend membership would cover it, as far as upgrading to "Family" between your renewals...I'll leave that for smarter people than me.
I know, I'm just a wealth of info...

Someone said something about the software maker putting out a web based simulation so people can get hands on experience with the software and some of those little... "events" that make racing so fun (transponder errors, etc). Oh well, either way I'm gonna have to keep trying to convince her. She just wants to know what's in store before she gets there.
