An "Express Lane" will be implemented at this event for those that Pre-Register with Pre-Payment.

So, if I pre-reg & pre-pay for event #2 and I still have a barcode on my helmet from event#1, I can bypass registration, right? (Assuming my car # and class stay the same, of course.)

Keeping the same barcode is the best thing to do. I used the same one all last season but a new one for this year to be safe. I would prefer you still check in, but be sure to say you already have your barcode.

I imagine there will still need to be a check in of some sort... to confirm you are an SCCA member (unless that's confirmed through online registration) and that you still have a valid drivers license. Just my $.02.

Thank you Michael. Very good point. I had issues with a lot of pre-payers for the last event that paid member and were not. Plus, it is nice to know you are actually there. My thoughts are to make this express lane for members only. I'm working on the details and have a few weeks.

I love the idea of an express check-in lane for members who pre-pay. I feel like there would need to be a sign over that registrar though to keep things visibly clear.

Hey guys. Im new to the area but not so new to autox. Is there a place where I can see the 2012 season schedule? I see a thread for the march 18th race. Is there a full season list of events? Also, is there a season points or championship that you guys compete for? Are there any other autox leagues that run around here? Im interested in doing a decent amount of racing. Up north I was averaging 3 events a month and about 24 in the season. Any an all help is appreciated

I know Vanessa's season trophy for 2010 in her Mustang was from Metrolina. If she can't get it to you soon enough, use a Miata seen as it is a small place, or a mini.

The barcodes are nothing special... just your class/number in Code39 barcode format. They'll work from event to event so you don't need to get a new one each time if you're running the same class and number... but you DO need to cover up/remove the old ones if you're not.

Yes! The barcodes carry over. As long as you run the same number and class, the barcode will work. Even if you switch for an event and come back it'll work. I used the same one most of last season. I highly recommend others do the same thing. Be sure to notify your registrar that you have one as you walk up.
